I have shown interest in kicking start my own blog since December and although I did register for a blog during that time I got sidetracked with other things. This past week I have been really pushing myself to get my blog up and running. I had no prior experience using wordpress so although I am quite good with html and css I encountered a lot of problems with editing the codes. The reason why I didn’t just use the many ready made templates available is because I wanted my blog to look similar like my main website. I believe nothing confuses people more than a different layout on every page they visit! Consistency is the key here, hence, I took a big chunk of my time tweaking the html and css codes.
Nevertheless, I did run into problems with the alignment and positioning elements like the main content column being pushed down and the left column appearing on the right instead. It makes you want to bang your head against a wall. Thankfully, with a lot of luck and learning I managed to make my blog look as close (if not exact) as my main website. So why blog? The following are my reasons:
1) Latest news and updates
I would like to use this blog as a place to post Sultryain’s latest news and updates. As you know Sultryain offers wholesale lingerie at affordable prices to resellers. Any new arrivals and changes happening in Sultryain will be updated here at this blog so you will always be kept in the loop.
2) Discounts and promotions
Our prices are extremely reasonable and is one of the lowest that you can possibly find on the web. Most of our discounts and promotions are within a short period of time. For members and newsletter subscribers you will receive an email if we have a promotion going on. For others, you can catch in on the bargain by frequently checking this blog.
